Things this past week were crazier than ever. On top of the normal schedule for Lent + preaching + buying my plane ticket home for after Easter, my best friends from college (Gwen, Erin, & emily) were in town for a winter getaway! It was great to have them here, to show them around, and just to talk and catch up with everyone.

4. Picking up Gwen on Friday morning.
5. Fun with Erin's family: fruit picking, bocce ball, & supper + night out in Scottsdale.
6. Preaching on Saturday and Sunday and having Gwen, emily, and Erin there to hear me :)
7. Road trip to Sedona!
8. Laughing. Lots of laughing.
They haven't even been gone more than a few hours, and I already miss them. The apartment is quiet and clean--not very fun. I am so thankful to have had the time with them and to feel more at home. They are amazing, brilliant, and beautiful people.
Other news? My car is broken. The brakes and windshield need replacing, and I know nothing...I mean absolutely nothing...about cars. Thankfully Matt & Bri have been a help with that.
Plus, tonight the three of us played tennis with Doy, the church council president, for almost three hours. It was a fantastic way to end a busy Monday.
And now it's time for oatmeal :) and bed. Good night.

I must admit my covetous feelings of your many visitors -- I don't think Syracuse has quite the draw that AZ has! And HGJ, for that matter. Now that it's warming up, though...
You sure look great, Hannah, and even happy. How's this pastor thing feeling on you? Seems like it's way past time to give you a call...maybe soon. That would be fun.
