As I mentioned before, my arrival back in Arizona meant dealing with some major car problems. Before I left to go home, we decided to invest money in the car and replace the transmission, later to find out that a huge electrical problem "appeared" while at the mechanic. They blamed us, we blamed them...it was not good. I still think we should have junked it.
Long story short, the car is now working mostly up to the same level as when I brought it in. An added bonus? A nice sulfur, disgusting egg smell to accompany any and all who ride in it. Talk about gross.
Anyway, the car issues consumed a lot of my energy over the past few days, and getting back to work after vacation was not the most fun. But I had little choice...I preached 5 times this weekend. Throw in Confirmation, and I am tired tonight. Thank goodness this weekend was the last "full service" weekend at Our Savior's until the fall. No more of that for me!
I am looking forward to the week and finding a normal routine as the church transitions into "summer mode." I am so looking forward to it.
I hope you are had a great weekend and these next days are full of joy for us all!
Be well--
HGJ
Oh, and here are some of my favorite pictures from my trip home. Some are mine, some are Abby's, some are Karen's. All are great.

I feel your pain about your car - how frustrating! "I went on internship and all I got was a new transmission." I'll make us tshirts. I'm glad it's back up and running - i know how much you love it! I hope this week feels better for you - I am also anxious for "summer mode" but have until June before it kicks in. Sigh... Hang in there, HGJ! We'll be back at sem and complaining about that before we know it.
Sending love your way!
