Arizona Roadkill

It happened today. The Ford Focus Wagon became a force to be reckoned with.

Today my mom, Lisa (a tenth-grader/family friend), and I headed up to Tortilla Flat again to show Lisa around. It was a nice drive until all of a sudden I spotted this long brownish yellow creature "S"-ing on the left side of the road. Oh my goodness! It was crazy. I swerved and the green van behind us swerved. I don't think I hit it, but between the two vehicles, we aren't convinced the creature made it to the other side of the road. It was horrible! I'm thankful it wasn't a larger animal, but talk about gross. This only solidifies my bad feeling about snakes.

That's enough of Arizona roadkill for me...forever.
