Sha la la la la la la la...

Hello! Happy Monday. Today's "stuck in my head song of the day" was Matt Costa's Sunshine. A good one for a hot Monday in Arizona, except for the fact that all that has been replaying is the "sha la la la la" part. I can't wait to sing it with my favorite people in just a few short months!

This morning was a little chaotic (don't go to the court building on Mesa Dr if you can prevent it in any way), but the rest of the day went decently well. Our staff meeting was productive and encouraging of some upcoming changes. Plus, it was topped off with a delicious lunch with Mark and Karen, so I can't complain.

One of my favorite things of the day though was an email update from Suzie, complete with pictures from home. It was awesome. I love the internet.

How can this picture of Papa Neil in the railroad overalls he wore for a drama at church not make you smile? Gosh I miss him.

And Woofie too! Except she doesn't look very happy. She was upset that the neighboring farm's cows came through the woods and ended up in our yard. I miss seeing cows in yards.
And then Suz sent one of my favorite pictures from my childhood. This day is one of my earliest memories. Unca Ronnie and Dad took me and Noah on a hike on the bluffs of the St. Croix River, and we found this "angel hair" in the woods.
