It has been almost a week since the last post...unbelievable!Work these past few days haven't been been my most favorite, but things have been cheered up with new guests arriving in town. Abby and Noah joined us this weekend for a week of fun! They flew from in Denver, after Noah finished a session for his first call continuing ed and some snowboarding.
We have been having a great time showing them around, hiking in the Superstitions, running and swimming in the warm weather, soaking up some sunshine, getting bitten by cactus, shopping at F & E & DownEast, cooking, going to the movies, eating at Wildflower Bakery 3 days in a row, relaxing, hot tubbing, watching Flight of the Conchords & 30 Rock, dressing Noah up in Mom's knit creations, and singing...lots of singing.
The problem with the Johnsons is that we never know all of the lyrics to the songs, so we just keep singing the same words over and over again like a broken record. It is like Beyonce has been living with us night and day since Noah arrived. Bret & Jemaine's Sugalumps and You've Got it Going On won't leave us as much as we try.
The good news? Our dancing to the songs has improved. That goes for all of us--Mom included. Noah's actually pretty good. Next time you see him, ask him to do his Single Ladies dance.

Oh no! Poor Noah's finger! How on earth did he get it stuck there anyway??
Have I told you how much I LOVE dancing to Beyonce?? My roommates and I put on "Single Ladies" on youtube, and make quite a spectacle trying to dance. I look forward to seeing Noah's version someday! Glad you are having fun! I will get tickets soon (I hope) and let you know ASAP!
