Rabbit, Rabbit. Did you remember? If you have no idea what I'm talking about, that's probably a good thing.
I can't sleep on Saturday nights. I think too much about church. Anyone else have that problem? Funny thing is I've already done one service this weekend, but I still can't get the details for Sunday morning out of my head.
This week has been busy, but not really exciting. That's partly why I haven't blogged a whole lot. Just more of the usual church-week routine, and because I was by myself for most of the time, I didn't do a whole lot of extra fun things.
I was excited about the weather, though I heard it's been really nice at home and people are actually outside enjoying it. Arizonians (is that the correct term?) don't spend time outside. I thought this would change as the visitors flock down, but not really. I would bet there were more people outside in the 40 degree weather in MN/WI today than Mesa-ites (Mesanites?) in the 74 degree weather. I was one of the rebels. People gave me weird looks.
But still, not very exciting...except for more news that visitors will soon be on their way down!
Dad leaves Monday, Mom's sticking around (she likes it here too much to leave just yet), Noah and Abby come in less than two weeks, Gwen's coming in from Washington, emily & Erin are coming from the Twin Cities, Suzie's coming this spring, Kira's headed down around her birthday for a few days...and later this month I'm headed to L.A. to see Amber, Scott, and the animals at the San Diego Zoo.
Sounds fantastic to me. I can't wait.
Ok, if I'm up, I should probably practice my sermon for tomorrow. We're doing a sermon series: Jesus, Light of....the church, the world, my soul, etc. I've got Light of the World. My title is "The SON Shines."
Hope you are all well! Miss you.
Peace--
