Game. Set. Match.

Tonight I didn't have to go to church. A shocker, I know.

Youth group was postponed until tomorrow...what a treat! (We are taking a group to Sunsplash! If you know anything about me, you know I love water, which means water parks are one of my favorite destinations in all the world.)

Anyway, because of the new found freedom of Wednesdays, we gathered our normal crew for a night of tennis: Matt and his wife Bri, our council president Doy, my mom while she is in AZ, and a friend of the Dobyns' (and now us) and fellow travel companion to Romania, Jill.

Jill cleaned up tonight, with a close finish by Doy. Matt is getting pretty darn good. Bri always carries the luck of the orange monster pants, and my mom and I can usually hold our own--at least enough to keep people playing with us.

I think we can all say we are getting better with each week, and it's so much fun. Tonight we only played about two hours worth and we petered out. Usually we make it three. I think the heat had something to do with it. Regardless, it was so much fun to be outside and moving.

Now I just need to find people to play tennis with me when I get back up north! Who's in?
