Patience, Patience, Patience.

Each day calls for exercises in patience at Regions! The days are long and we are all tired. We can't wait to get home.

Thankfully, Dad continues to progress with his therapies. I have the honor of being with his partner in crime for all of his sessions. I have a new found respect for therapists.

It's a good thing we all have different gifts! There's no way I could do this day after day, week after week. One of Dad's favorite sayings holds true: One day at a time.

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.
