Church was great this morning, and I had a wonderful time meeting and greeting the people of Epiphany Lutheran. The church is located about 20 minutes from home, closer to the Superstition Mountains. Three years ago, the pastor was brought in to help the congregation "die." Today, it is alive and well. The demographic is aging, but they have all been very kind in their welcoming. And following the church tradition, they even got me a cake today :)
After church we headed to the airport and picked up Noah! It is so wonderful to have him here. We have already been playing out in the sun and the pool, but the heat is still intense. Noah says, "I have never felt heat like this before."
So...another weekend done. Next weekend in Minnesota/Wisconsin for Noah's ordination, and then back to Arizona on Monday.
Life is good.
All the best
