The Honeymoon

If I could pick to be anywhere in the world right now (outside of being home with family), it would be this exact place in the mountain stations of India. Isn't it beautiful? This place reminds me that the world continues on, even without us. But it is also a place where it looks as though my dreams of acquiring my superhero skills of flying would be most beneficial.

All I want to do is soar.

My realization from today is this: this is the beginning of the end...the beginning of the end of the internship honeymoon phase, at least.

This year and what I imagine it will entail has finally "set in." I now have a schedule, a daily & weekly routine. Mostly I find it comforting, but not always...like tonight.

All I can say is, "Ugh."

But tomorrow is a new day, with new adventures, and then...best of all...I get a day off.

Talk about, "Praise the Lord!"
