Is it the weekend yet?

What a busy week....I'm ready for a nice relaxing weekend, is that bad?!

Here's the grand finale countdown of my Saturday & Sunday:

1. 4 hospital visits

2. 5 sermons preached +1 kick-butt children's sermon complete with leaves brought from WI! (This week I'll upload the audio when the link is put up on the internet)

3. 5 worship services at two different locations

4. Afternoon fun at one of the local nursing homes, though Bingo was not included

And best of all...

5. 1,000,000 hands shaked, side hugs given, awkward "air" kisses, and "Oh, it's so good to see you here today"-s.

Don't be jealous :)

For some people I met today, I was the first woman for them to see in a pulpit. Kind of an honor/really weird thing for me. Most of the people I met though were pleasantly kind & generous. Others are still confused.

The bad news of the day is that I wasn't around for Johnson/Mason family fun time with UB and the crew. I missed not being there today and having fun with them. Though the phone calls & emails helped to fill me in.

And now I'm tired and it's time for Monday!

No complaints though--I guess more fun is just needed to be had in Mesa.

And on that note, I'm going to bed. Mind you, it's not even 7:30 here yet.

Hope your weekends were wonderful!

Take care,
HGJ
