It's Time to Fly!

All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go...to Seattle & beyond!

Tomorrow afternoon I return to the beautiful North Cascades in Washington for my good friend Gwen's wedding. It was just over a year ago that emily & I ventured out to spend time with her kayaking and exploring.

But this wedding on Friday, isn't just any wedding. It is my first wedding of leading the service. Of course, someone else will be doing the legal work, but I am still counting this as a partial first.

These next days will be a huge adventure alone! I meet Erin, Dan, emily, & Colby tomorrow night, get to Gwen & Andy's on Thursday afternoon, wedding Friday morning, and then I leave the national park just after midnight on Saturday morning to begin the trek back to SEA-TAC Airport in the dark. I arrive back in AZ early Saturday just in time to begin my preaching rotation for the weekend.

Wow! It should be fun!

And the best news of all today: it's finally starting to cool down here. We're talking 90s on a regular basis...woohoo!

Well, I had better get back to packing...

Peace--
HGJ

Hi HGJ
It is Friday evening so you have likely delivered your words of wisdom, sending your first couple into togetherness. Way to go! I hope your weekend adventures are safe and exciting in the North Cascades. I spent mant days climbing in those mountains and kayaking their valleys. I am a tad envious. The Wisconsin forests are ablaze!
