I expected to make it to Washington and back in two and a half days...I did.
I expected these past days to be fun...they were.
I expected the past days to be busy...they were.
I expected to have fun with Gwen, Andy, Erin, Dan, em, Colby, the Petersons and Blakes...I did.
I expected to be tired when I got home...I am.
I expected to see familiar faces at church this afternoon...I did.
And yet, I'm still surprised.
I expected Washington to be dreadfully cold, but it was beautifully refreshing.
I expected to take lots of pictures on the trip, but my poor camera planning prohibited that (I promise to share some pictures though once I get them from friends)
I expected Gwen & Andy's wedding to be a little chaotic, but it went on without a hitch!
I expected it rain during the ceremony, but it was sunny and comfortable.
I expected to be nervous about leading my first wedding, but I wasn't.
I expected Arizona to be sunny and hot when I returned home, but it's cloudy and cooler.
I expected to be happy to be home in my own space, but not so much on a quiet Saturday night.
I expected to remember people's names at the 4:00 service today, but I didn't.
I expected that I would be ready to get back to work after being gone for a few days, but I'm just not feeling it.
I expected to be asleep by now, but my mind is going crazy.
One thing is for sure:
Life sure is interesting.
No doubt about it.
All the best--
