Some of you might know this, others probably not, but each day I name a "Hero of the Day." It's always a surprise for me to figure out who it is. Some days I have to look closer than others to find the person, but they are always there...working in both big and small ways. I hold all to be miraculous.
Today, I have multiple "Heroes"--from family in Osceola and Cloquet, friends in Minnesota and California, to the woman I brought communion to and the man I visited in the hospital...even the plumber who rescued my apartment this afternoon!
Anyone who says miracles do not happen anymore is crazy.
And now, I am off to make chili (I'm going through cold weather withdrawal, so turned the a/c way down and am rebelling by making cold-weather comfort food), and to clean the apartment because....a visitor is coming tomorrow!
I'm so excited.
All the best,
HGJ
