Surviving Christmas

I survived this week with flying colors! How about you?

It was actually a great time--though I am really...really... excited to be flying home tomorrow night!

Here's a quick rundown of the past few days:

Dozens of generous presents from the Our Saviors Community

11 people I celebrated Christmas day with

10 calls home in the past two days

9 rounds of "golf" with the Quams

8 minute sermon written to be preached tomorrow morning, but I need to make it longer!

7 types of goodies I've eaten since Christmas eve

6 mile hike/climb up and down mountain

5 friends from my old church visiting from up north

4 Christmas church services lead

3 Christmas celebration meals in 3 locations with 3 different families

2 frosts that left car windshield to be scraped

1 overall--generally--happy person :)

Hope you are all well. I probably won't be writing again until I'm in Wisconsin. I cannot wait. I'll be sure to update you with the happenings and snow reports while I'm at home!
