"All those who love justice and mercy say, 'Amen.' "

Today I was able to work from home and watch the inauguration of our 44th President, Barack Obama, with my mom and dad. History in the making...what a country!

I am in awe of the sights of the millions that flocked to D.C., and, I have to admit, I'm a little jealous. I wish I were there! The cheers, sights, and even the cold seem appealing.

What a spectacular day. Not all would agree, but I am so excited for the encouragement to have "hope without fear," and the renewed sense that ordinary people can make a difference in the world. Talk about a communal calling!

But for as excited as I am today, I am more excited for tomorrow and the next four years. The administration might not always work as hoped or expected, but change is here!

May God bless the Obamas, the new administration, our country, and our world.

With joy--
HGJ
