The Lion King!

This week has been a bit hectic. Certainly in a good way, but busy with leading Bible studies, going to meetings, planning for Lent, writing reports, doing a few hospital visits, sermon writing, baptism planning, preparing for Confirmation...I didn't even get a chance to start my communion visits for the month. I'm happy to have Fridays as my day off.

But last night was a special treat--a reward in many ways--for the work that was accomplished over these past days!

I took my parents to see The Lion King at the ASU Gammage Theater. The costumes and choreography were stunning, the music spectacular. If you get a chance, go see it! Of course, Disney always adds in extra songs to fill up the 2+ hours (which we didn't especially like), but it's still worth an evening of your time and some saving of your money.

Rafiki was awesome. As were Timon, Pumba, and young Simba.

So, that's my story of the week. I can't believe I haven't blogged since Monday.

Have a great weekend!

Best--
HGJ
