Climb Every Mountain

This afternoon my mom and I tagged along with Matt and Bri Dobyns and their friend, Jill, and their dog, Emmitt, to do some hiking in the Superstition Mountains. Dad opted to stay home and be stable on his feet and the paved roads.

I didn't even realize there were mountains in the Phoenix area until I showed up, so I was even more surprised to find these beautiful mountains just a few minutes from home. Today was the perfect day to explore them a bit--70s and sunny!

We had a wonderful time seeing part of the mountain up close and personal, while navigating over little rocks and big boulders. Overall it was about a 4 mile hike roundtrip, reaching about 2,780 ft.

Our knees are a little sore tonight, and we're both tired, but we are already looking forward to our next adventure out there!
I hope you had an enJOYable day.

Peace--
HGJ
