Organ Stop Pizza

Tonight we headed to Organ Stop Pizza with the Hackneys. It was another delightful evening.

Organ Stop is home to the Might Wurlitzer. Being there would make any organ music lover stop dead in their tracks. It ascends and descends, turns around, plays dozens of instruments including drums, accordian, horns, birds, dancing cats, etc. It has nearly 6,000 pipes!

You order your pizza and sit down and when the music time comes, the organ lifts out of the floor and the organists plays songs you have written down on request sheets. Dad's request for Moon River was the second song he played--he and mom danced to it--and Shirley's Phantom of the Opera Music of the Night was right after. Talk about knowing the right people! They even have a screen that lowers and song lyrics are displayed for sing-a-longs.

Great fun. I can't wait to go again. Seriously.

Hope you had a good finish to your work week!

Peace--
