Are you ready for my weekend equation?

2,000 people at church this weekend at the E.Mesa Campus

+400 hands shook...some of them twice.
What can I say, I get turned around quite a bit.

+ 300 members in attendance at the afternoon
25th Anniversary Hymn Sing

+ 13 different hymns sung in a day and a half
(on top of that, 3 of them were sung 5 times)

+ 10 people forced to learn about baptism at Confirmation,
while wishing they were watching the football game

+ 5 services attended and preached at

+ 4 minutes to prepare a Children's Sermon
(I forgot that the preacher does that...whoops!)

+ 3 choirs heard

+ 2 cups of coffee drunk

+ 1 NFC Champion Game won by the AZ Cardinals...
Super Bowl here we come!

I can honestly say I'm glad this weekend is over. I'm tired.
