Watch Out for the Saguaros!

This weekend has been full of adventures...

We began with a trek up to Tortilla Flat. My mom and I had already ventured there with the Hackneys, but we thought dad would enjoy the drive, seeing the thousands of Saguaro cactus, and feasting on delicious hamburgers. We had a good time, and no one got car sick!

And of course, today was church day. I led worship at the E. Mesa campus--Myron preached. Usually it's a 4 service commitment, but it was Family Style Sunday School day so I got to sneak out of the last two and lead that. I loved singing with the kids, leading a study with the adults, making birthday cards for kids in the orphanage in Romania, and enjoying a meal with them.

Mom and dad headed to Gold Canyon for worship to hear Matt preach and to visit with the crew out there. Of course, they had a wonderful time and were included in "breakfast bunch" afterward. They are really enjoying their time here, and, honestly, it's making it easier for me too :)
