The weather has been fantastic--60s and sunny. It is actually a little cool here for the season, but we're enjoying it immensely. We just got out of the hot tub--though the run back to the apartment is less than enjoyable. It gets cold here at night!
Mom and dad spent the day walking around the "neighborhood." My dad keeps joking that my mom is tricking him into walking to Phoenix--a 25 minute drive. But they are enjoying it despite the crazy drivers and heavy traffic.
And I survived my least favorite day of the week, so things are looking up all around.
Plus, I showed up at work to find my amaryllis--which was barely budding when I left last week--to be tall and beautiful---though Matt might disagree! A few of us on the church staff are competing to see who can grow the best. So far, so good....much credit to Pat who took care of it while I was gone.
